Fast-Growing Real Estate Tech Company Gets a Visit From Mayor Lovely Warren

Mayor Warren visited the downtown headquarters offices of real estate tech company Real Agent Pro, after a personal invitation from a company investor. Real Agent Pro provides lead generation, lead conversion, marketing and coaching services to top real estate agents across the country. On May 2nd, Mayor Lovely Warren and Baye M. Muhammad, Commissioner Department of Neighborhood & Business Development met with the Real Agent Pro leadership team.
There was a twofold purpose to the meeting: to get the big stakeholders in the Rochester community to identify ways Real Agent Pro could help the Mayor succeed, but also, to figure out how the city could support the success and growth of one of the fastest growing companies in the community.
After learning more about the company’s operations, extraordinary growth, and contributions to city employment and tax base, Mayor Warren asked the entrepreneurs: “How can Rochester city government be of help?” The company’s requests fell into three broad categories, all of which were noted as keys to continued expansion.
First, the leadership team asked that the mayor and her administrative team put on their radar the company’s pressing recruitment needs.
The entire workforce is located right here at the corporate headquarters in the Eastman Kodak building at 343 State Street, Rochester, NY. That’s why the company leaders were especially appreciative that the Mayor and her team made time to learn more about the company.
Secondly, they asked for any support in building awareness about the employment opportunities available at the fast-growing company. We simply cannot hire fast enough to keep up with the growth. Real Agent Pro has openings in a wide range of fields, but the highest demand is for inside sales and customer support positions. These are high paying jobs, with very high-income potential for the strongest performers, and transferrable-skills training. The company leadership in the room pointed out how these contributions directly support the Mayor’s agenda for job creation, building economic equality and closing the “middle skills gap.”
Finally, there was an acknowledgment by the company of the valuable support they had received with government-sponsored training grants, through Rochester Works and Monroe on The Job. The additional request was to have more insight into the full breadth of financial incentives and resources available to young, high growth companies in Rochester.
Real Agent Pro is already taking its responsibilities to the community to heart. Mr. Colton and his wife Yvonne are strong supporters of Bivona Child Advocacy Center. Mrs. Monte has served as Board Chair for Hillside Children’s Center where she’s volunteered service for 15 years. The company also has plans to bolster its support for Flower City Habitat for Humanity.
The overall sentiment in the room was that the city government and startups like Real Agent Pro have a lot of opportunities to build strong communities when they work together. These fast-growing companies that service customers nationwide, can be powerful engines of job growth and employ the type of skilled workers who contribute to (and pay taxes in) the city.
