TENFOLD Receives Coveted Top Honor from the American Advertising Federation
COLUMBUS, Ohio (PRWEB) May 14, 2018 -- TENFOLD, an award-winning strategy and creative firm that reveals and reflects the magic of brand and culture, recently received top honors from the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Given annually, the ADDY awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious competitions, recognizing advertising firms that exhibit excellence in creativity and strategic impact.
Winning at the local (Columbus) level entitled TENFOLD to enter the district-level competition, with entrants from a three-state region including Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. TENFOLD was awarded Gold in the Multiple Installations category for its “Huntington Gateway” project created for Huntington Bank. More impressively, the project was named Best of Show from among the 74 district winners. Later this year, TENFOLD will compete at the national level with entrants from all 15 districts.
“We are honored and thrilled to be recognized by our peers for the hard work and passion we brought to the Huntington Gateway project,” said Rachel Friedman, Founder and CEO of TENFOLD. “Our team worked closely with Huntington to help tell their unique brand and culture story. It is so rewarding to create spaces that inspire people. To win Best of Show after opening our doors just four years ago is a testimony to the extraordinary attunement and boundless creativity our team brings every day. ”
Huntington turned to TENFOLD for help in branding its newest facility, a 210,000 square foot building housing 1,400 people.
“TENFOLD thoughtfully and strategically embedded our Welcome culture throughout our Gateway Center. At Huntington, we believe in giving back to, and investing in, our local communities. It’s at the heart of everything we do, and a hallmark of our brand,” says Steve Steinour, Chief Executive Officer of Huntington, “The neighborhood murals are a tremendous point of pride for us. We are thankful for TENFOLD’s partnership, vision and solid execution on a job well-done.”
Each section of the floor plan is designated as a neighborhood, represented through beautiful maps and black-and-white photographs of specific landmarks. All six neighborhoods depicted in the space reflect areas of urban renewal and revitalization in Columbus, to which Huntington has dedicated significant investments and loan allocation.
Celebrating Huntington’s decision, years ago, to figuratively untether the pen and give away millions of free green pens to represent the open and valued relationship the bank fosters with its customers, TENFOLD designed a massive light fixture with its Welcome message and suspended more than 3,400 Huntington pens as the ‘crystals’ of this unique chandelier. A large branding wall incorporates imagery of hundreds of colleagues, and another wall is punctuated with Pelotonia bicycles, a major charitable initiative for Huntington.
“At Huntington, we are a Welcome brand. It is not only our tagline, it’s the ethos of our culture. That’s why we care about the seemingly small details that result in a highly functioning, creative fun office environment where our colleagues look forward to coming to work, and where they feel welcome,“ said Julie Tutkovics, Huntington’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. “TENFOLD helped us create a unique and engaging atmosphere that infuses our brand and our values throughout every nook of our beautiful new Gateway Center. We congratulate them on their well-deserved ADDY awards.”
This is not TENFOLD’s first recognition by the AAF. The firm scored three Gold awards at the regional ADDYs in 2017, making it the only Columbus-based agency to bring home Gold that year.
