Author J. A. Segura’s Newly Released “Luke Ten Nineteen” Is a Mystery from the Past of a Beautiful Spanish Flamenco Dancer Named Rosalina That Her Daughter Must Solve
MEADVILLE, Pa. (PRWEB) May 18, 2018 -- “Luke Ten Nineteen”: an investigation into the history of a flamenco dancer from Spain by her FBI agent daughter. “Luke Ten Nineteen” is the creation of published author, J. A. Segura. Segura is a second-generation Mexican American born in Toledo, Ohio. In 1890, her paternal great-grandfather Francisco Segura was a brick mason on a ship bound for Mexico. He was commissioned to perform brickwork on a church in Real de Catorce in San Luis Potosi. A beautiful Indian girl caught his eye and true love redirected the course of his life. He settled in Mexico, never returning to Spain. J. A. Segura is the third child crammed in the middle of six siblings and part of an extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins with roots in California, Ohio, and Texas. With five children packed into a station wagon and a U-Haul trailer hitched to the bumper, J. A. Segura’s family migrated from Ohio to Southern California when J.A. was just five years old. Her father is an ex-marine and retired owner of an autobody business. Her mother is a retired electronics assembler. J.A. has been an avid reader since elementary school. Her mother often boasts about how she won several awards for the most books read. She discovered her passion for writing twenty-five years ago. Since then, she has been pursuing writing as just a hobby while enjoying a thirty-five-year career as an executive assistant for a leading aerospace corporation. She is a single mother with a grown son. She recently became a proud grandmother.
“The following day, Magdalena arrived at work, eager to search through the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program-ViCAP database. She was looking for any unsolved strangulation murders of young women beginning with the year 1985. It was the same year the infamous Night Stalker was apprehended. She never dismissed her intuitions, her gut instincts, never. There was something about her uncle Reyes’ childhood buddy, Dennis Weise, she couldn’t shake
from her thoughts. She had drilled her father during Consuelo’s celebration reception at her grandparents’ house asking question after question about Dennis Weise.” --J. A. Segura
