SAE International announces that registration is now open for the 2018 Thermal Management Systems Symposium (TMSS). More than 300 national and international industry professionals from OEMs, academia, chemical companies, and regulatory bodies will assemble at the San Diego Marriot Mission Valley in San Diego, CA, from October 9-11, 2018.
The event addresses the latest regulatory changes and international standards necessitating a significant reduction in combustion emissions. Thermal management activities now form an integral aspect of adhering to these requirements. TMSS provides an unparalleled platform to discuss current challenges, technologies, and regulatory compliance strategies.
This year’s symposium focuses on the latest and most pertinent topics in the field of thermal systems technology today. The technical program will address the latest EPA regulations, European Commissions, and CAFE standards. In addition to discussions on regulatory changes and their impacts on the thermal management systems industry, the event will serve as the meeting ground for thermal systems professionals from around the globe to participate in conversations that seek to reduce engine emissions, conserve energy, reduce noise, improve the cabin environment, and increase the overall performance of commercial and off-road vehicles.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from prominent regulatory experts from the United States, Europe, and Asia who will review cutting-edge technology and discuss valuable solutions and strategies on how to navigate current thermal management requirements and regulations. This event allows attendees to exchange ideas with engineers, business professionals, executives, students and professors from Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, chemical companies, and academia from around the world.
