Holy Cross Hospital is a small 25-bed rural community-owned hospital that manages care for more than 16,000 Emergency Department (ED) patients each year. The hospital recently received a Five-Star rating for overall quality from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, placing it in the top ten percent of hospitals nationwide to earn this recognition. As part of its commitment to provide the best possible care, the hospital embarked on an effort to upgrade the tools and technology it used to treat its patients. This involved upgrading to a new hospital EHR and Emergency Department EHR, replacing their previous systems with state-of-the-art solutions that would better benefit the small hospital and its community of patients.
