PGA Southeast Florida Chapter Elects Paul Clivio Director of Golf at St. Andrews Country Club as President
BOCA RATON, Fla. (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- The Professional Golf Association (PGA) recently elected Paul Clivio, Director of Golf at St. Andrews Country Club as President of the Southeast Florida Chapter during their annual spring meeting.
Clivio began his leadership with the PGA four years ago after being elected as Secretary. He served two years as Secretary and two years as Vice-President before being elected as President for the 2018-2019 year. In his new role, Clivio will serve as the primary voice and voting representative for the SE Florida Chapter on the Board and will be involved with planning annual meetings. Clivio will also use his knowledge and expertise to plan educational meetings and discussions for his chapter.
Clivio has been recognized for his out of the box thinking and his continuous efforts and commitment to developing a successful golf program over the past 23 years. Just recently, he was named 2017 Callaway Golf Professional of the year, Master Staff Professional for Callaway Golf, Two time award winner of the CMAA Idea Fair in Golf Operations 2015 & 2017 and the 2017 & 2018 Platinum Award for top 100 Golf Shops in America by the AGM.
Last year Clivio received the “Ace in the Hole” Award from America’s Healthiest Clubs. He was featured in their monthly digital publication Passion, which is designed to recognize individuals for their contributions to the betterment of the industry through wellness. Clivio was honored as one of “eight game-changers, innovators and passionate club managers & department heads that are shaping the future of the private club industry.”
