Northwest Chapter of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance Leading the Charge for Manufacturers in the State
ATLANTA (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Northwest Chapter. This chapter will cover the territory east of Interstate 75 and north of Interstate 20. Ms. Gail Moore is the North West Chapter Director for GMA and the co-founder of Custom Plastics and More. Her company offers innovative solutions in plastic part fabrication, product design, project management, and secondary operations for a wide range of industries.

The Northwest Chapter launched its first meeting with a Coffee and Connections Networking group and a tour of Fulfillment Strategies International in March. They also had a tour of Seasons 4 in April and have 2 tours planned on May 17th which will highlight manufacturers in Buchanan, GA.

Chickmate feeders came from an idea by a progressive thinking farmer, Pat Awalt, who noticed a crack in the feed line and saw feed dropping onto the floor. He developed a more efficient method of feeding baby chickens and invented a baby chick feed dispenser that "automatically" feeds the young birds. Manufactured from high-quality plastics, Chickmate manufacturers 7 models of feed dispensers and 3 feed pan models for commercial chicken houses and are distributed worldwide. Attendees will see the complete process of injection molding from raw material to finished product.
