O’Neil & Associates, Inc. Presents Its Largest Scholarship to Date to Local Student
MIAMISBURG, Ohio (PRWEB) May 16, 2018 -- O’Neil & Associates, Inc. (ONEIL) awarded Miamisburg High School (MHS) senior Bailey Cook with the Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship in the amount of $3,000, its largest scholarship to date. Selected by ONEIL’s Helping Hands Committee, the scholarship was presented by Technology Strategic Business Unit Manager Troy Kaper during MHS Senior Awards Night.
“We are pleased to present Bailey with the Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship, as we’re confident she’ll continue to succeed in her educational endeavors,” said Kaper.
Named after the company founder, criteria for the Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship includes academic achievement, community involvement, ACT and SAT scores, and letters of recommendation. Applicants were also responsible for presenting the Committee with a 500-word essay describing their candidacy. Cook, who intends to major in media arts at an in-state university, has exceeded a 4.0 GPA and is ranked 17th of 383 MHS graduating students. Presented annually, details for 2019 Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship applicants will become available in the coming months.
