WASHINGTON (PRWEB) May 17, 2018 -- Management consulting firm Clarke & Esposito today announced that Helen Szigeti has joined the firm in the position of Consultant.
“We are delighted to welcome Helen to the firm,” said Michael Clarke, Managing Partner. “Her background and expertise as a publisher, technologist, and librarian provide a holistic view of the professional and academic marketplace. We look forward to bringing her unique perspective and insight to bear to help our clients navigate an increasingly complex business environment.”
Helen will work on engagements across the firm’s practice areas, including strategic and operational assessments, journal RFPs, market research, and product development. Helen’s experience in the information industry includes both publishing and librarianship, spanning technology, program and partner assessment, product development, and industry research and analysis. She joins the firm following positions at HighWire Press/Stanford University, Thomson Scientific (now Clarivate Analytics), and the University of Pennsylvania Health Sciences Libraries. Helen holds a master’s degree in Information Studies from Drexel University, and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. Throughout her career she has been an active supporter of industry organizations and initiatives, serving on committees for National Information Standards Organization (NISO), the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP), and most recently the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), where she continues to serve as Program Director.
“Clarke & Esposito serves a broad range of clients and I’m thrilled to be able to bring my expertise to the table to help meet their business development and assessment needs,” said Szigeti. “I look forward to working with the Clarke & Esposito team, and to be part of a growing organization that is keenly aware of the challenges (and opportunities) in today’s scholarly information landscape.”
