Black Ops Launches Open Source Framework To Make Building Chatbots Better
NEW YORK (PRWEB) May 21, 2018 -- Today, May 21 2018, Black Ops, the chatbot agency behind popular Facebook and SMS chatbots for brands like TradeStation and Bark Box has launched their first of many products, Stealth. Stealth, is an open source Ruby framework for developers to easily build and launch chatbots on multiple chat services, such as Facebook Messenger, SMS, Twitter Direct Message and Amazon Alexa. It is available for free via GitHub, and MIT licensed, so users not only own their bot, developers can add on and contribute to the framework as the bot and artificial intelligence industry continues to evolve quickly.
As one of the earliest agencies in the space, Black Ops has worked for the last year and a half to create Stealth, after using countless amounts of tooling that was never the perfect fit for professional chatbots. Matthew Black, the CEO of Black Ops explained, “we built Stealth because we didn’t want to settle. We've tried all kinds of tools and platforms for creating bots, but they all fell short. We wanted a single framework for all types of bots that we actually loved using.”
Stealth is free for everyone. Developers can access it via GitHub, then easily and quickly build and launch a bot on multiple services, and contribute their own add ons to the framework. “We made it open source to ensure the next generation of chatbots are not stuck on proprietary platforms. We want Stealth developers to be able to take advantage of all of the great tools and services that exist for web applications,” said Mauricio Gomes, CTO of Black Ops.
