“Mini-Lini” LM Series Extends Light Envelope to 2 Meters
MUSKEGON, Mich. (PRWEB) May 21, 2018 -- Smart Vision Lights, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-brightness LED lights for industrial applications, is pleased to announce the addition of long-range optics to its award-winning LM Series of miniature linear lights for machine vision.
The LM45 and LM75 “mini-linis” now include 16-degree (N16) and 25-degree (N25) lens options, in addition to the standard 40-degree, the wide-angle 80-degree, and the line lenses. The 16- and 25-degree lenses extend the effective range of the lights out to 2000 mm, compared to 1000 mm for standard and wide-angle lenses.
The LM series includes Smart Vision Lights’ proprietary internal MultiDrive™ driver, which allows the user to operate the light in either continuous operation or OverDrive™ strobe mode and to set the intensity via 0–10 V analog control.
The LM45 includes four high-output LEDs, while the LM75 has eight LEDs. The lights can be mounted via a rear T-slot channel. All models come with overcurrent protection, PNP and NPN strobe input, and the industry-standard 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector to simplify wiring. With housing just 51 mm long, the LM45 puts out unprecedented levels of light in one of the industry’s smallest footprints.
Standard wavelength colors are white, 470 nm blue, 530 nm green, 625 nm red, and 850 nm IR. Additional wavelengths are available upon request.
