Unicon Technologists to Deliver 11 Presentations at the Open Apereo 2018 Conference
GILBERT, Ariz. (PRWEB) May 22, 2018 -- Unicon, Inc., a leading technology consulting, services, and support provider for the education industry, will be leading and participating in a total of 11 technical workshops, presentations, and showcase demos at the upcoming Open Apereo 2018 conference in Montréal, Québec, Canada, June 3-7, 2018. Five open source software developers, architects, and engineers from Unicon will present on a variety of Apereo Foundation projects for the online campus, with topics including open source application deployment, development, and support.
Open Apereo is the premier conference for open source software in education. Unicon Apereo community members will present on the current project states of open source webSSO software, Central Authentication Service (CAS), and uPortal, the leading open source enterprise portal built by and for higher education institutions. Unicon will also give an introduction to EQUELLA, a digital repository that provides a single platform to house teaching/learning, research, media, and library content.
