PointCare welcomes San Ysidro of San Diego as our newest FQHC customer

SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) May 25, 2018 -- With over 30 FQHC's in California, PointCare has added San Ysidro Health of San Diego as a customer. San Ysidro Health purchased a product called TEM (Total Enrollment Management) which allows San Ysidro Health to receive automated bi-weekly Medi-Cal approvals, faster Medi-Cal eligibility qualification, Medi-Cal program enrollment tracking and a follow up reminder system.

This will allow San Ysidro Health better predictability on whether or not a patient would be approved for a program before an enrollment counselor spends time trying to enroll a patient into a program. Enrollment counselors can find out within 90 seconds, out of 52 California coverage programs, which ones a patient will qualify for. Gilbert Fimbres, CFO at San Ysidro Health had this to say as part of the reason they decided to move forward with PointCare, “I anticipate that PointCare will be the solution for our patients to have a more seamless enrollment and registration process as well as a very helpful tool for our Patient Access Representative’s in qualifying our patients for the various types of assistance programs.”
