BALTIMORE (PRWEB) May 29, 2018
The IMS Global Learning Consortium awarded YouSeeU a gold medal in the 2018 Learning Impact Awards on Thursday in Baltimore, Maryland. YouSeeU was one of eight Learning Impact Award winners, which the judges placed in four categories: platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. There were two winners from each category, platinum being the highest honor.
"We are thrilled to be recognized with this highly coveted award by the IMS Global community,” said Dr. Jeff Lewis, YouSeeU’s founder and Chief Product Officer. “Interoperability in the edtech ecosystem enables us to serve learners worldwide through leading institutions like Penn State World Campus and University of Phoenix, and global partners like Cengage Learning and Desire2Learn. In the past, it was difficult to facilitate soft skill development through digital learning environments, but our proprietary learning workflows and deep integrations with leading platforms make it possible today at scale. Our team at YouSeeU will keep innovating and working hard to make significant learning impacts for years to come."
Since its inception in 2009, YouSeeU’s primary goal has been to close the soft skills gap. The company’s flagship product, Bongo, is a video assessment platform that enables educational institutions, corporate trainers, and content providers to assess and improve learners’ soft skills at scale. With its commitment to interoperability, accessibility, and usability, the company pushes closer to that goal every day.
YouSeeU’s gold medal ranks it among industry leaders such as Blackboard and itslearning, award winners in the platinum and bronze categories, respectively. The Colorado-based company was one of 26 finalists selected for the final round of the competition.
Created in 2007, the Learning Impact Awards program recognizes technology applications that address significant challenges facing the global education market. The program consisted of global participants, including finalists from regional competitions in Australia, Japan, Korea and the United Kingdom.
