Two Radiologists from Midstate Radiology Associates Awarded an American College of Radiology Fellowship
(PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- Lawrence Weiss, MD (FACR) and Robert Spillane, MD, MBA (FACR) of Midstate Radiology Associates have been honored as American College of Radiology Fellows.
ACR Fellowship is awarded to members of the College in good standing who have demonstrated service to ACR; evidenced significant accomplishments in scientific or clinical research in the field of radiology; made significant contributions to literature; and/or provided outstanding work as a teacher of radiology. Only 10 percent of College members have been awarded this honor.
Fellowship is awarded to diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, medical physicists, and nuclear medicine physicians at the Convocation held during the ACR annual meeting.
Dr. Weiss is currently affiliated with Midstate Medical Center and the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He specializes in ultrasound-guided procedures, body imaging, women’s imaging, joint injections and general radiology.
Dr. Spillane is currently affiliated with Midstate Medical Center, the Hospital of Central Connecticut and Hartford Hospital. He specializes in body imaging, cardiovascular imaging, hepatobiliary imaging, interventional oncology and interventional spine procedures.
