Action-Packed Outdoor Game, Air O Splash, Makes a Splash on Kickstarter
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (PRWEB) May 30, 2018 -- In search of a way to give kids and adults a break from technology and spend more time outside, a Colorado-based husband and wife duo created Air O Splash. Air O Splash is a fun, action-packed outdoor game that incorporates water-filled rockets to help players cool off on hot summer days. Today, the Air O Splash team launched a Kickstarter campaign in the hopes of raising $25,000 to help bring their product to the backyards of families worldwide.
Unlike other outdoor games, there is no player limit. Whether it’s two people or ten, Air O Splash includes anyone and everyone. The goal of the game is to knock down the opposing team’s rockets using the provided Air O Discs. Players break off into two teams, and each team gets four throws per round. The offense scores points for direct hits that knock the rocket off the tower, while the defense team can steal points if they catch a rocket before it hits the ground. The first team to 21 points wins.
“As a yard game enthusiast myself, my wife and I have found joy in our adult years playing outdoor games as they provide a healthy outlet from the daily grind,” said Co-founder Mike Kinner. “When beginning to brainstorm ideas for a new outdoor game in early 2017, initially our goal was to create a game that we would love to play. We want to bring a product to the world that will bring joy into countless lives. In developing Air O Splash, we are adding an exciting splash-factor element to outdoor games, what super soaker did to squirt guns, Air O Splash will do to yard games.”
Air O Splash has partnered with Lifewater to help provide clean water to people around the world. Following the Kickstarter campaign, for every Air O Splash purchased, the company will work with Lifewater to provide clean water to one person for an entire year.
Portable and easy to set up, Air O Splash is best used at beaches, backyards and the park. Additionally, water is optional when it comes to Air O Splash, allowing the game to be played year-round.
