Chicago FinTech Group FinTEx Announces New, Weeklong Schedule of Events Called FinTEx Forum
CHICAGO (PRWEB) May 31, 2018 -- FinTEx, a Chicago-based organization committed to raising the profiles of Midwestern FinTech leaders while cultivating growth and innovation within the region, announced today a brand new lineup of exciting events called the FinTEx Forum. Taking place June 12-14 at various locations across the city of Chicago, the Forum will bring together innovators, executives and investors from the local FinTech community through meaningful speaking and networking engagements.
“When we envisioned this event, we focused on creating an environment that attracted founders, executives and investors who are committed as long-term supporters of the FinTech ecosystem,” said Randy Rivera, FinTEx co-founder and chairman of the Forum. “We made a deliberate effort to organize an event not focused on making money but on creating meaningful experiences and interactions. With the support of respected executives in their respective industries, it is exciting to bring together our community for the first Forum.”
In addition, from June 6-7, FinTEx is pleased to be working with the British Consulate to host The Lord Mayor of London Charles Bowman to build ties between Chicago and London, primarily in the FinTech space, and to update the business community on the post-Brexit landscape, the UK's place in Europe and the current status of financial regulatory reform in the US and EU. A leading ambassador for the UK’s financial and related professional services sector, the Lord Mayor Charles Bowman will meet with a series of high-level representatives to assess how the two cities can build trade links and strengthen technological ties.
