Portfolium’s Student Success Platform Selected by Columbia College Chicago
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) June 01, 2018 -- Columbia College Chicago will leverage Portfolium’s full-stack Student Success platform to capture student work samples, assess them for competencies, and match those competencies to internship and job opportunities using Portfolium’s TalentMatch technology.
When considering technologies best suited to fuel the full student success lifecycle at Columbia, the institution chose Portfolium in part due to its seamless integration with their learning management system, Canvas by Instructure. Columbia also considered Portfolium’s track record of successful student adoption and strong customer support.
“Student success is a continuous, multi-phased journey. Columbia College Chicago understands that the energy of classroom learning can and should be captured, conserved and reused as currency in the post-graduation career marketplace. We’re proud to deliver some of the infrastructure critical to each phase,” said Jim Milton, VP Strategy at Portfolium.
Other use cases for Portfolium at Columbia will include assessment, accreditation readiness, career readiness, and as a general purpose showcase for student and faculty achievement. Portfolium will also be leveraged as a social network used to students with alumni for mentoring opportunities.
