MANCHESTER, England (PRWEB) June 06, 2018 -- A huge buzz was created by the first ever BIBA live hackathon, where tech experts were challenged to come up with digital solutions for some of the pressing challenges faced by brokers in the market today.
The ManageMy crew made a big splash with their contribution and our very own Jon Beardmore was a key member of the winning team, demonstrating the huge advantages of engaging with customers in a digital fashion to deepen insight and understanding.
The Hackathon Challenge was to develop a digital engagement solution for brokers to identify and monitor the changing insurance needs of their commercial customers. ManageMy, as part of the winning Spotlight team, created a demonstration broker-branded website and mobile app that allowed brokers to carry out an ‘Insurance Healthcheck’ for their customers. Customers could also complete the Healthcheck remotely themselves. Either way, the solution identified potential over/underinsurance and resulting opportunities to win business from other providers in an efficient and automated way.
The customer platform also included elements of ManageMy’s proprietary insurance customer functionality, including:
- digital document delivery,
- a policy and portfolio management centre,
- two way broker – client conversation functionality,
- a digital cloud-based asset register, and
- customer referral module.
