U.S. Junior Olympics Synchronized Swimming Championship Comes to Greater Cincinnati Area This Summer
CINCINNATI (PRWEB) June 01, 2018 -- Welcoming the crème of the crop in synchronized swimming, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Synchrogators and Miami University announced today the 2018 U.S. Junior Olympic Synchronized Swimming Championship sponsored by USA Synchro. The event will showcase the power, beauty, and grace of the nation's top 75 teams, featured at Miami University's Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center in Oxford, Ohio from June 23 to June 30, 2018. Athletes ages 8-19 will vie for Junior Olympic National Titles in the solo, duet, combo and team events.
Cincinnati Synchrogators 16-19 team will strive for their third consecutive championship as they compete against the best of the best in the country. Ginny Jasontek, head coach of the Synchrogators, is a legend in synchronized swimming both locally and internationally and has brought the area 15 national championship titles since forming the team in 1970.
“We are thrilled to once again host such an exciting national event that showcases the sheer determination and hard work these athletes undertake as they pursue their dream of attaining one of the highest medals in the sport,” said Jasontek. “While the sport is growing in popularity and more people are familiar with its power and beauty, the only way to see its awe-inspiring performances is in person. We hope to welcome both new and familiar faces this summer.”

About The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Synchrogators
The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Synchrogators is a year-round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities and home to the 2016 and 2017 U.S. Junior Olympic Synchronized Swimming 18-19 Age Group Champions.
