CANCUN, Mexico (PRWEB) June 04, 2018 -- The Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) hosted its 25th Annual Education Invitational, May 29 – June 2, 2018, at The Grand at Moon Place Cancun, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. More than 500 sponsors, buyers, trustees, hosts, media and speakers attended the sold out event. The elite event attracted hosted buyers from over 150 incentive travel and Fortune 1000 companies with 72 percent VP level and above. Attendees experienced the luxury of the brand new property The Grand at Moon Palace. The Grand presents a unique “resort within a resort” concept located within the AAA Four Diamond award-winning Moon Palace Cancun. A recent $450 million investment created a property where guests have exclusive access to spacious, chic accommodations, high-end activities, premier dining establishments, and 27 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature golf designed specifically for the resort.
The milestone event’s forward-looking theme “Building a Grand-New Future” offered attendees the chance to combine research trends, insights, creativity and collaboration to envision the future of the industry and of the IRF. As the event and audience evolve, 30 percent of attendees were first-time attendees. Other highlights included:
- Building Relationships, with more than ten networking events, including receptions, destination activities and a Corporate Social Responsibility event
- Building Knowledge at Education Day, which offered four hours CMP/SHRM certified education, two keynotes and the addition of eight interactive breakout sessions
- Building the Future IRF through fundraising, sponsorship and an exciting auction program
“In the past 10 years alone, the IRF has spent $2 million on research and education,” said Melissa Van Dyke, President, the Incentive Research Foundation. “The IRF Education Invitational is the IRF’s most important annual fundraising activity for research surrounding motivation and incentives, and the IRF is incredibly grateful for the industry’s support of this event.”
The IRF will again hold its second annual Leadership Insights Forum in Vancouver October 8-9, 2018 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
