Editors of Healthcare Informatics Release the 2018 Healthcare Informatics 100
(PRWEB) June 06, 2018 -- The editors of Healthcare Informatics are once again proud to present the newest edition of our unique industry offering: the Healthcare Informatics 100, a compilation of the top healthcare information technology companies operating in the United States, based on healthcare IT (HIT) revenues from the most recent fiscal year.
For participating companies, the list includes healthcare IT revenue, information on senior executives, markets served, specific product category revenue percentages, and much more. Last year, in 2017, the 100 companies included on the list represented a range from $65 million in annual revenues to $7.3 billion in annual revenues. This year, the revenues range from $69 million to $8.1 billion. The entire Healthcare Informatics 100 list and accompanying company data and charts are located at https://www.healthcare-informatics.com/hci100.
Every year for decades, Healthcare Informatics, one of the most trusted sources for information, analysis, and insights in the healthcare information technology sector, has published the Healthcare Informatics 100, which brings to the healthcare information technology audience key data and information on the leading software vendor companies, by revenue. No other publication or organization publishes such a comprehensive set of data and information on the leading vendors in the U.S. healthcare information technology industry.
“More than just a list, the Healthcare Informatics 100 is an absolute indicator of which companies are solving issues in the U.S. healthcare industry - and doing it at scale”, said Rich Tomko, Vice President and Managing Director of Healthcare Informatics. “The more interesting part of this list is understanding exactly what issues they are solving and how”, continued Tomko.
Upon the release of the 2018 Healthcare Informatics 100, Healthcare Informatics Editor-in-Chief Mark Hagland further stated, “Publishing the Healthcare Informatics 100 has been a great privilege for us as an editorial team. This compendium was actually created back in 1992, by Bill Childs, the founder, editor and publisher of the magazine, and has become more robust and better-read over the years. We’re proud of our role in bringing the data and information in the Healthcare Informatics 100 to our audience of healthcare IT leaders, and to the industry as a whole.”
As in past years, the editors of Healthcare Informatics are grateful to two market research organizations, Porter Research (Atlanta) and ST Advisors, LLC (San Francisco) for their support and collaboration in bringing together the research and validation of listings and revenues.
The editors of Healthcare Informatics would like to thank the leaders of all of those vendor companies who submitted revenues and other data on their organizations.
