American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Launches New Look
ROSEMONT, Ill. (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) launched a new brand, tagline and logo for the Society today.
“Two years ago, the AOSSM leadership embarked on a path toward rebranding our Society. Through significant research and input from members, industry and the public we’ve worked hard to define and refine what it means to be a member of AOSSM, including who we are, what we do and why what we do, matters. With this research in hand, we have now completed the updating of our brand, logo and website. We are excited and proud to launch into this next chapter of our distinguished history of being the leader in sports medicine education and research,” said AOSSM President, Charles Bush-Joseph, MD.
Infused With Our Heritage
From the beginning of the logo development process, the AOSSM Marketing Task Force (the team responsible for the rebrand that included a wide range of members and professional team) took the approach of “evolution” versus “revolution” and incorporated many attributes of the previous logo into the current one, including the color red and the running person.
“We are also excited to introduce our new tagline: “We Keep You in the Game.™” It captures the essence of our promise to all athletes and active people that we work to keep them doing what they love throughout their life, no matter their ability or level of participation. It also underscores that AOSSM keeps our members, in the “game” through education, research, fellowship and communications,” said AOSSM CEO, Greg Dummer.
