SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) June 07, 2018
WHOIS API INC, the Los Angeles-based big data and API company, announced today they would begin offering a updated search tool capable of researching all the domain names ever registered by an individual or organization.
The service, referred to as Reverse WHOIS, allows users to perform a fixed number of searches for the historical records of a domain, regardless of how many domain names appear in the result.
“Simply put, Reverse WHOIS lets you find all the domain names ever recorded by an organization,” Kevin Francois, WHOIS API INC, said. “You just need to enter the entity’s name, phone, or e-mail.”
By searching with a unique identifier highlighted by WHOIS search terms, Reverse WHOIS allows users to include multiple search items for current and historic records before compiling them into downloadable formats such as CSVs or PDFs. The program’s applications include aiding brand agents responsible for protecting intellectual properties to find instances of potential trademark infringements. Likewise, Reverse WHOIS can also be used to help domain investors learn about competitors, identify domains with investment potential, and locate potential buyers.
There’s also a new and updated Reverse Whois API that provides programmatic access to the service.
“Webmasters can also use it to identify new business and partnership opportunities,” Francois added.
Established in 2010, WHOIS API INC has established a reputation of providing solid and reliable data services and cyber security for a full range of customers, from Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to small law firms and financial institutions.
