Workgrid Software to Debut Voice Support for its Digital Assistant at the 2018 Digital Workplace Experience Event
BOSTON (PRWEB) June 06, 2018 -- Workgrid Software to Debut Voice Support for its Digital Assistant at the 2018 Digital Workplace Experience Event
Workgrid Software, a provider of intelligent workplace software solutions and a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Group, today announced its plan to preview voice capabilities for its digital assistant solution at the upcoming Digital Workplace Experience Summit 2018, taking place June 18-20 at the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago, IL.
With voice-based AI technology becoming one of the trends shaping the future of the digital workplace, Workgrid is looking to gather feedback from digital workplace leaders across the country attending the event to prepare for its upcoming release of voice support. During the event, Workgrid will demonstrate live previews of what the role of voice could look like for the digital workplace and how voice has the opportunity to improve efficiencies and create more satisfying work experiences.
Adding voice support to the Workgrid Assistant will allow employees to voice queries and commands through voice-driven technologies such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to connect to the Workgrid Assistant which orchestrates across all the disparate systems, data and content to perform task, answer questions, look up information and other common workplace tasks – based on each employee’s personal needs, defined by role, department, and location.
For example, employees can ask Alexa to connect to Workgrid to submit a helpdesk ticket, determine what’s on their calendar for the day, reschedule a meeting, or check their time off balance.
“By enabling voice capabilities, Workgrid provides the user experience that employees have come to expect as consumers across web, desktop, mobile, and now voice-enabled technologies,” said Brett Caldon, Head of Business Operations, Workgrid Software. “Best of all, employees no longer need to think about all the underlying systems to complete tasks or spend countless minutes searching through the intranet. Instead, everything will be brought together through conversation creating a bidirectional AI experience, where information, content or services are pushed to the user proactively and actions are performed automatically, on the users’ behalf.”
