Hot Vendor reports identify new and emerging providers who are giving enterprises an edge in the race to go fully digital.

Aragon Research publishes its first Hot Vendor reports for 2018.

These Hot Vendors are providing enterprises with key on-ramps to going digital and advancing their transformation goals.

The Hot Vendors identified by Aragon Research Inc. in the Business Process Management (BPM), Digital Transaction Management (DTM), and Sales Engagement markets are providing enterprises with key on-ramps to going digital and advancing their transformation goals.

Regarding the BPM market, Jim Sinur, VP Research and Research Fellow at Aragon Research said, “BPM is viable for the long-term as the secret ingredient in digital solutions. It’s especially key for new business models that leverage process differentiation.” The Hot Vendors in BPM report identifies three vendors who are enabling enterprises to optimize their efficiency efforts and transformation goals.

Efficiency is also the end goal of Digital Transaction Management (DTM), a technology Aragon identifies as a jumpstart to Digital Transformation. The Hot Vendors in DTM, 2018 report identifies four vendors who are helping enterprises leave the paper era behind - because in 2018, Aragon estimates that less than 40% of all document processes are fully digital. “Because the results are far-reaching in both the short-term and long-term, enterprises should put DTM at the top of their priorities list if they are not already using this technology,” said Jim Lundy, CEO at Aragon Research.

DTM was recognized as a new market by Aragon Research in 2014 and in 2016, the research firm identified a new market called Sales Engagement, a technology that streamlines and condenses the digital tools sales professionals use in the sales process. The five Hot Vendors in Sales Engagement are providing enterprises with a competitive advantage, due to their ability to provide sales professionals with instant insights, “to not only understand the current stage of a deal, but to help them understand what is working to close more deals in the future,” said Lundy.
