Lone Star Emergency Group Roadshow to Debut E-ONE's 100-Foot Metro Quint Across Texas
HOUSTON (PRWEB) June 08, 2018 -- Today, Lone Star Emergency Group is excited to announce the launch of its upcoming Lone Star Roadshow featuring the E-ONE Metro 100 Quint with HR Ladder. The Roadshow, which will run through August, will feature a series of appointment-only demos that will give fire departments and communities across Texas their first glimpse of this unparalleled vehicle.
The compact Metro 100 Quint with HR Ladder combines a pumper and a ladder into one versatile package. It features a 500-pound tip load ladder with a 100-foot vertical reach on a single rear axle with a 235-inch wheelbase that allows for high maneuverability in tight areas. Couple the maneuverability with its narrow, 11-foot jack spread – which allows it to be set up in tight locations – and the Metro Quint is a truly revolutionary firefighting apparatus.
Once on scene, the Metro 100 Quint is equipped with a pump that handles up to 2000 GPM and a 300- to 500-gallon water tank. The extruded aluminum body features full-depth compartments on each side, a center tunnel holding 127 feet of ground ladders, and a SideStackerTM hosebed that can be reloaded without raising the aerial.
“Over the last 35 years, E-ONE has engineered and built more than 2,500 aerials for fire departments around the world, and we are honored to partner with this great manufacturer to bring the Metro 100 Quint to first responders across Texas,” says Brad Fullington, CEO of Lone Star Emergency Group. “Not only does the Metro 100 Quint feature unmatched design and construction, but it also provides great maneuverability in tight locations and is outfitted with the historic E-ONE aerial device and ladder.”
