The SRP FCU Board of Directors elected Sandra DeVoe Bland as the 2018 Board Chair passing the baton from Roy Giselhart, who presided as Board Chair for four years until March 2018. Geiselhart has served on the Board of Directors of SRP Federal Credit Union for nineteen years. During his tenure on the Board he served on a variety of committees. Giselhart, now retired from Savannah River Site, held a variety of positions in finance, accounting, capital markets, commercial real estate lending and loan syndication throughout his business career. Geiselhart proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Robert Morris University and has taken graduate courses in finance at the University of Pittsburgh.

DeVoe Bland is the first female and African American to hold the position of Board Chair at SRP FCU. DeVoe Bland previously served as Vice Chairman. She has over 20 years SRP FCU board experience; serving on the Finance Committee, chairing the Facilities Committee and Facilities/IT Committee. “It is a privilege to serve our member-owners. We strive to be the financial institution of choice, providing great products and services tailor-made for our members," said DeVoe Bland.

She has more than 30 years of leadership, management, financial and technical experience. DeVoe Bland is employed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, the M&O Contractor for the Savannah River Site. DeVoe Bland earned her Master’s in Project Management from DeVry’s Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
