Advanced Solutions Life Sciences Expands Operations into Manchester, NH
MANCHESTER, N.H. (PRWEB) June 11, 2018 -- Advanced Solutions Life Sciences, LLC (ASLS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Solutions, Inc. (ASI), officially expanded their operations with the opening of a second biofabrication facility and laboratory in Manchester, NH on May 30, 2018. Several dignitaries, members of the Advanced Regenerative Medical Institute (ARMI), employees of Advanced Solutions Life Sciences, and respected members of the community gathered to celebrate the expansion at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Leading the ceremony, Dean Kamen, founder of ARMI, expressed the importance of businesses such as Advanced Solutions Life Sciences moving to Manchester and of the impact the work ARMI and ASLS will have on the future of medical care across the globe. Dean went on to say “Change is hard. We need companies that are willing to take a risk and people who are willing to be the example of what it takes to build a new industry. Michael Golway is the type of guy we need here to lead as an example to the rest of the people to make this a success.”
During the reception, the Mayor of Manchester Joyce Craig stated, “This takes us one step closer to making Manchester the Silicon Valley of regenerative medicine. The Mill Yard will be the epicenter of a completely new industry driving new business growth in our state for years to come and most importantly altering the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.”
After welcoming Advanced Solutions Life Sciences to Manchester, the United States Senator Jeanne Shaheen spoke about the impact of this initiative on the American public. “This truly remarkable research led by ARMI and its partner, Advanced Solutions Life Sciences, to develop and manufacture human tissue and organs has the potential to help wounded soldiers and could eventually wipe out the list of more than 120,000 Americans on the organ donor waiting list.”
Also in attendance was the United States Senator Maggie Hassan. Senator Hassan, who is also the former Governor of New Hampshire, affirmed, “Advanced Solutions Life Sciences has the potential to encourage scientific discovery, improve public health and the ability to advance health technology in a way that will greatly benefit all of humanity.”
The New Hampshire State Senator Jeb Bradley referred to the bill signing scheduled later that same day “What we are doing with the ARMI legislation is vital to the state of New Hampshire.” The new legislation signed into law grants 10-year tax exemptions for businesses with at least 75% of their work devoted to regenerative medicine. The law also provides student loan forgiveness for those actively employed and engaged in regenerative manufacturing in the state of New Hampshire for a minimum of 5 years.
Before cutting the ribbon, Michael Golway, CEO of Advanced Solutions Life Sciences expressed his gratitude and announced “This is a special moment. The talented minds that will grace our Advanced Solutions labs on the ARMI campus will play an important role in contributing to curative organ printing solutions that will forever change the course of human history.” Michael went on to say, “We will work hard to earn and become one of Manchester’s top corporate citizens.”
