Tampa-Based MaintenX Tees Up for CVS Health Charity Classic
TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) June 20, 2018 -- MaintenX International will join CVS for a weekend full of fun and philanthropy this June 21-25. For the 13th consecutive year, MaintenX will participate in the CVS Health Charity Classic in Barrington, Rhode Island. This will be the 20th anniversary of the charity event, which has donated more than $21 million dollars to non-profit organizations that address critical needs in the community.
“We participate in every event at the Classic,” said Bill Schaphorst, MaintenX’s VP of Business Development. “From the gala to the Pro-Am, we love the opportunity to help raise money for the community while having a good time.”
Giving back is part of the culture at MaintenX. Founded more than 35 years ago, MaintenX has understood the value of supporting their community from the start. In addition to the CVS Health Charity Classic, MaintenX participates in other charity events like the Home Depot Foundation disaster relief build projects and regularly donates to local non-profits across the country.
“We always love to support the causes that are important to our clients,” said Schaphorst. “With clients in 16 states, we have the opportunity to impact community groups from coast to coast.”
As one of Rhode Island’s largest charity events, it’s not surprising the Classic features some of golf’s top athletes. This year, PGA pros in attendance include Billy Andrade, Brad Faxon, Billy Horschel and Rory McIlroy. The weekend also features a food-festival, Crave RI, that features local restaurants, beer, wine and chefs.
