Primavera Online High School Still Enrolling for 2nd, 3rd Summer Sessions
CHANDLER, Ariz. (PRWEB) June 12, 2018 -- High school students who missed their school’s deadline to register for summer school can still enroll with Primavera Online High School. The next session starts July 2 followed by the last session starting July 16. Students enroll statewide for the program in order to recover credits or get ahead to graduate early.
A big differentiator in Primavera summer school is not just that courses are online allowing students to study from their homes, but also that courses are tuition free.
Most traditional summer school programs can cost up to $200 dollars and are in-person at one location within a school district, a location that may or may not be convenient for parents depending on where they live within the district boundaries.
“I was recommended by my guidance counselor at my school, and he said that I could have taken an online class with my school district,” said Felicity Newman, a Primavera graduate. “But he also said Primavera was really good and it was free, so that’s when I did Primavera Online.”
Newman acknowledged that the condensed courses required more work, but that the school offered support along the way.
“My teachers were really cool,” said Newman. “They talked to me, helped me through pacing and everything. I was doing babysitting, which you think you could never do being online doing school. It was hard, but I got it all done and I was still really good with my grades.”
Primavera’s summer school program is the largest in Arizona, with more than 10,000 students enrolled each summer.
While spots are filling quickly, enrollment is open for the July 2 and July 16 summer blocks, with July 2 being a four-week block and July 16 lasting six weeks. Students and parents can get started at freesummerschool.com, or call 480.456.6678, option 1.
