Meridian Senior Living Announces the Release of a YouTube video: “From Our Seniors to the Seniors of 2018: Advice on the Next Phase of Life”
BETHESDA, Md. (PRWEB) June 14, 2018 -- According to National Center for Educational Statistics approximately 4.5 million college students are estimated to graduate in the latest academic year. To celebrate and recognize this achievement, Meridian Senior Living, LLC is proud to announce the release of a YouTube video: “From Our Seniors to the Seniors of 2018: Advice on the Next Phase of Life” found on the URL: https://youtu.be/XKm4alHebF4. Created by videographer Steve Andrews over the past year, this 2-minute video features six residents living in Meridian Senior Living communities sharing their words of wisdom to the graduation class of 2018.
Advice such as, “Make the most of every day”, “Enjoy what you have and realize as you get older, it isn’t going to be exactly the same”, “If you have time and money, go travel”, and “Memories make life worthwhile”, resonate with the viewer through this emotional and inspirational black and white short film. This video will be shared to the graduation class of 2018 on Facebook, Instagram, on the Meridian Senior Living website: http://www.meridiansenior.com, and local news outlets across the nation.
To further support 2018 graduates, Meridian Senior Living launched a scholarship opportunity for families of Meridian Senior Living residents on June 1, 2018. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 – $3,000. Students under the age of 25 can apply by creating and submitting a 3-10 minute video commemorating their relative living in a Meridian Senior Living community. This video can include photos and video to highlight memories, stories, and advice to share with children of today. Applicants need to upload their video submissions to YouTube and then share the link to [email protected] by August 31, 2018 to be considered. Awards will be announced on September 15, 2018.
