Northcentral University Names Dean to Head School of Business
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) June 18, 2018 -- Northcentral University (NCU), a global online graduate-focused university, is pleased to announce that Dr. Kelley Walters has been named the Dean of its School of Business.
Before taking this position, Walters served as Acting Dean for the School of Business. She also was Interim Dean of the School of Education from 2014-2015. Walters has also been deeply involved in curriculum design, program development, and best practices in teaching and learning, serving as the Director of Curriculum for the School of Education from 2014-2016, and the Senior Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning since 2016. In addition, Walters is a Contributing Editor for Young Children (NAEYC), Editorial Review Board Member for The Reading Teacher (ILA), Editorial Review Board for The Record (KDP), and a reviewer for a plethora of peer reviewed journals.
Walters is a dynamic leader that has an extensive background in business and higher education. She brings a wealth of experience that ranges from business analysis and budget management to serving as adjunct faculty and managing the curriculum for more than 450 courses. She has also been involved in numerous strategic planning and partnership building initiatives on behalf of Northcentral University.
She earned her MBA from Northcentral University and her PhD in Reading Education from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

NCU’s School of Business offers doctoral, master’s, post-graduate certificate and bachelor’s programs designed to help students enhance their skills in various business dimensions, while developing focused-knowledge in their chosen area of specialization. The School recently launched a Doctor of Criminal Justice and a Master of Legal Studies degree programs.
