KCAS Bioanalytical and Biomarker Services Welcomes Director of Bioanalytical Discovery Research Services
KANSAS CITY, Kansas (PRWEB) June 19, 2018 -- KCAS Bioanalytical and Biomarker Services, a laboratory services focused contract research organization (CRO) is pleased to announce the expansion of their Discovery Research Services team. Dr. Sohrab Habibi Goudarzi, Ph.D., joins KCAS as Director of Bioanalytical Discovery Research Services.
The addition of Dr. Goudarzi adds significant experience and depth to KCAS’s integrated drug discovery and development services program. He brings with him knowledge of bioanalytical method development, tandem mass spectrometry, automation, metabolite identification, and trace level quantitation in biological and materials applications. “KCAS is delighted to welcome Dr. Goudarzi to our growing team of experts. Dr. Goudarzi’s knowledge in discovery and lab automation is a valuable addition to KCAS’ development services portfolio. Dr. Goudarzi joins KCAS from Northwestern University where he was the director of the mass spectrometry core facility in the department of Chemistry. Previously he worked for the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Oak Ridge National Laboratories, in addition to spending 13 years in an industrial setting, building upon his talent of curating teams and streamlining procedures to produce quality results within a tight timeline structure. Dr. Goudarzi earned his M.S. in Analytical Chemistry (Chromatography) and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (Mass Spectrometry) from Purdue University.
