Financial Writers Society Announces 2018 Board of Directors
BOSTON (PRWEB) June 14, 2018 -- Financial Writers Society (FWS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering mentorship and collaboration for financial writers throughout the world, today announced the release of its 2018 Board of Directors. In addition to Charles Bovaird, president and founder- - of FWS, Tim Enneking, Kurt Burnett and Kevin Dinino have been named as 2018 Board Members.
FWS is a tax-exempt trade association open to those with an interest in financial writing. Its members include professionals in the media – reporters, editors and producers – financial authors, bloggers, content developers and also aspiring writers. The organization specializes in all things finance, from Wall Street, banking and personal finance to fintech and cryptocurrency.
“We are excited to have this diverse group of individuals on the FWS 2018 Board of Directors,” said Bovaird. “These individuals will be instrumental in our plan to bolster FWS’ presence both domestically and internationally, ramping up membership initiatives and promoting our vision – to improve industry standards for financial writing and provide members with opportunities to network, collaborate and support each other.”

- Charles Bovaird, President and Founder
Bovaird, a financial writer and consultant, is best known for his deep understanding of securities markets and investing concepts and ability to effectively communicate complex information to a broader audience. Bovaird has contributed to top-tier publications including Forbes, Investopedia and CoinDesk. To date, he has accumulated more than 500 publications.
- Tim Enneking, Non-Executive Director
Currently the managing director at Crypto Asset Management (CAM), an asset and fund management company located in La Jolla, California, Enneking has deep roots in financial services. Enneking has a background in asset management, including managing funds ranging from trusts to private equity to crypto trading. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for more than 32 years, retiring in 2011 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Further, he has served as an adjunct professor at three different universities in three separate countries.
- Kurt Burnett, Non-Executive Director
Burnett is FWS’s personal finance guru. For more than a decade, Burnett has dedicated his career to teaching and training others on all things personal finance. He has taught in higher education as a classroom and online instructor, as well as coached individuals through non-profit organizations and as a consultant.
- Kevin Dinino, Non-Executive Director
Regarded as a leader in financial public relations and strategic communications, Dinino is the Founder and President of award-winning financial communications firm KCD PR. The firm specializes in servicing clients in financial services, financial technology (fintech), cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Prior to launching KCD PR, Dinino oversaw corporate communications at the nation’s largest independent brokerage firm, LPL Financial.
