Eva earned a Doctorate of Philosophy and a master’s degree in Christian Counselling from Covington Theological Seminary. Her thesis was called “Historic Female Sexual Abuse.” She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Donsbach University. She also earned two certificates in general social work and child abuse from the University of Waterloo. Ms. Shaw co-authored the book, “Mentoring Women Leaders.” She has also written several articles for the Womanition Magazine, Divorce Magazine, and marriage.com. She has published poetry on poetryhunters.com, including an e-book. She is a member of the International Women’s Leadership Association and was named as a top woman executive. Her article, “Diabetics in the Workplace,” is used to teach medical and dental students about what it is like to truly live with diabetes. Eva has a training and information website. She also sponsors the Wounded Warriors program for Canadian Military Veterans and a child in the Philippines through Compassion Canada. Shaw is a registered clinical counselor and a self-sabotage coach. She was the first executive director of a new women’s shelter, an employee assistance counselor, and a regional manager for ten years. Her curriculum vitae is unique. It is filled with training and experiences that address a variety of issues. She is known as a relationship specialist. Eva and her husband, Warren, live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
