Laura Matsuda’s New Release “911! Kittens Crying In The Park” is a Tender Children’s Book about a Brother And Sister Who Adopt Two Kittens They Find Abandoned in a Park
MEADVILLE, Pa. (PRWEB) June 27, 2018 -- “911! Kittens Crying in the Park”: a heartwarming story of love and adoption. “911! Kittens Crying in the Park” is the creation of published author Laura Matsuda, an honor graduate from a Toronto business college who grew up in Malton, Ontario, and later British Columbia’s remote Cariboo region surrounded by animals, crops, barnyards, cabins, farm machinery, poverty, hard work, commitment, and lots and lots of family. Later Laura studied at the Justice Institute of BC and received honor qualification in Mediation and Negotiation. She then received contracts with the Attorney General to provide Child Protection Mediation, Family Mediation and as Co-Therapist delivering group sessions for men who had assaulted their intimate partners.
Matsuda writes about the flurry of excitement in the new family: “‘Mom! Dad!’ Mara and Aldo called out as they burst through their front door. ‘Look what we found!’
Mom and Dad came running down the stairs. They looked at the two little kittens curled up and warm in the children’s jackets.
‘Kittens!’ exclaimed Dad. ‘Where did you find them?’
‘We found them underneath a bush by the sidewalk at the edge of the park!’ replied Aldo.
‘They were all alone!’ added Mara. ‘And they were crying.’
‘Where’s your mommy, little kittens?’ asked Mom, scooping them up.
MEOW! MEOW!
The kittens snuggled up in Mom’s arms. They were so young. Their eyes were barely open! They reached and stretched around, crying for something to eat.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Laura Matsuda’s new book is an uplifting tribute to those parents and guardians who not only care for and nurture their own dependents but who also train them to become caring and nurturing people in turn, with respect for all living beings.
Laura writes with the unbridled joy of an animal lover who lives to share the delight and privileges of human–animal interaction, all toward the goal of building character and instilling hope in others.
