WordStream Celebrated as One of Boston’s Top Places to Work for Fourth Consecutive Year
BOSTON (PRWEB) June 22, 2018 -- WordStream, Inc., a provider of online marketing software and services, was honored this week as one of Boston’s top 20 best places to work by the Boston Business Journal, marking the company’s fourth year in a row on the prestigious list. Winners were announced on June 20th at Boston’s Symphony Hall in front of a crowd of over 900 for the 16th annual Best Places to Work awards event.
With a diverse group of over 200 employees, WordStream competed in the mid-sized business category and took 19th place, coming in one spot higher than the previous year. Other companies in the mid-sized category include Salsify, ezCater, and Drift.
The Boston Business Journal determines its winners and final rankings with Quantum Workplace, which conducted an online survey of the employees for each company to rank their work environment, work-life balance, advancement opportunities, job satisfaction, management, compensation and benefits.
Employees praised WordStream’s flexible hours, unlimited vacation policy, fun and friendly work environment, great benefits, and office perks as some of the many reasons they love working there. The strong company culture and core values, opportunities for career growth, and access to learning resources and opportunities were also cited as qualities that make the software company, which was recently acquired by media-giant Gannett, a place people are excited to show up to work every morning.
“I’m proud we’ve been named one of Boston’s best places to work for the fourth time in four years,” said Lucy Lemons, VP of People Success of WordStream. “The fact that our people feel we’re living up to our commitment to creating a great workplace is fantastic. As we grow, continuing to improve our employee experience will help us remain a thriving, customer-obsessed organization.”
