South Dakota Plumbing Commission signs with new company StateReporting.com for continuing education management services.

"We’ve definitely stepped in to fill a gap like no other with our course review system, outstanding tech support, and always free service to the stakeholders," said co-founder Mike Melvin.

StateReporting.com, a continuing education management software platform, announces their partnership with the South Dakota Plumbing Commission to provide continuing education services on behalf of the Plumbing Commission’s approximately 1,100 license holders.

The company https://www.statereporting.com/ offers a comprehensive continuing education management system free to state regulatory agencies, license holders, and education providers that is customized to each agency’s existing applications, forms, and processes, easing their administrative burden.

“Our platform allows the South Dakota Plumbing Commission the freedom to do what they do best which is to look out for all of the interests of their license holders, not just their CE requirements,” Mike Melvin, corporation co-founder said. “Each stakeholder in our system has their own secure portal. Agencies can log in to approve courses and confirm which license holders are in compliance. Education providers can submit their courses and report their students all with a couple of clicks. Plumbers can log in and see right away whether or not they are in compliance.”

Despite being in business only since January 2018, StateReporting.com has already secured two state agency contracts and is in the underwriting process with several others. “Our company has three guiding values in mind everyday - security, convenience, and transparency. That message comes through in our product and service, and really hits home for agencies, education providers, and license holders. We’ve definitely stepped in to fill a gap like no other with our course review system, outstanding tech support, and always free service to the stakeholders, “ Melvin added.

Responsibilities of the Plumbing Commission include administering state laws, plumbing inspections, initial licensing of plumbers, and keeping plumbers updated on code requirements, and new products and methods of installation in the state. “StateReporting.com enables the agency to put their focus on those tasks which further the public interests of both license holders and citizens, while leaving all the administrative tasks of managing CE to us,” Melvin concluded.
