International M&A Conference Agenda Announced
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 25, 2018 -- The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (The Alliance) released final program details today for its 2018 Summer Conference, a highly anticipated forum where middle market M&A professionals will discuss emerging issues and make deals. Hundreds of investors, sellers and intermediaries from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and more than 25 countries, are expected to attend the summit, slated for July 17 to 19 at the Loews Chicago Downtown Hotel.
According to Bruce Marks, first vice president and business acquisition specialist at Radius Bank and The Alliance conference chairman, The Alliance 2018 Summer Conference program offers “executive-level education centered on the changing dynamics of middle market M&A.” Panels of industry experts have signed on to lead interactive discussions on relevant topics ranging from the state of the market and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 to the rise of blockchain technology, working with independent sponsors, and business valuation/transaction structuring.
Program highlights also include speaker presentations offering insider insights on areas of keen interest to active M&A professionals, including:
• Cybersecurity as M&A Enabler: Steve Roth, Chief Revenue Officer, WHOA.com.
• Bringing Family Businesses to Market: Tom Deans, Author, “Every Family’s Business.”
• Communications that Help Secure Stakeholder Buy-in: Christine Barney, CEO, rbb Communications.
• What Executives Need to Know to Make the Most of Mergers & Acquisitions: Tom Stewart, Executive Director, National Center for the Middle Market, Fisher College of Business.
“The middle market is on fire right now, but change is relentless,” said Marks. “Engaging in dialogue with a community of committed and forward-thinking colleagues is one of the best ways to be prepared for whatever risks and rewards the future holds. It’s also one of the best investments M&A professionals can make in their own careers. Our conference features exactly the kind of analysis, collaboration and, of course, networking they need to stay informed, stay nimble and get deals done.”
In addition to a dynamic educational track, this year’s Summer Conference also will be anchored by two dedicated Deal Bash sessions where investors and intermediaries can schedule one-to-one meetings and transact business. During each Deal Bash, those seeking capital have the chance to pitch opportunities to various investors in hopes of piquing interest in their deals or laying the pipeline for future business.
