Becker's Healthcare Welcomes ASCA CEO William Prentice for the Becker's ASC 25th Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs
CHICAGO (PRWEB) June 27, 2018 -- Becker's ASC Review is pleased to welcome William Prentice and more than 175 other talented medical professionals as speakers for the Becker's ASC 25th Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, Oct. 18-20 at the Swissôtel Chicago.
Since October 2010, William Prentice has served as CEO of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, a national membership association providing advocacy and resources to help ASCs deliver high-quality, cost-effective services. In this position, Mr. Prentice has increased membership numbers and boosted the organization's advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. On Oct. 19, he will share his insight on key legislative issues for ASCs.
A founding partner of Trumbull, Conn.-based Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, Michael Redler, MD, has published numerous articles and led arthroscopy courses throughout the U.S. and Europe. He also serves as an orthopedic consultant to Major League Lacrosse, a professor for Fairfield, Conn.-based Sacred Heart University's athletic training and physical therapy program, and a visiting consultant for the Charlottesville-based University of Virginia's division of hand surgery and sports medicine. He will deliver an exciting presentation on adding procedures to ASCs and join a panel of keynote speakers Friday, Oct. 19.
Miami-based Gastro Health President James Leavitt, MD, FACG, will join a panel of talented experts Thursday, Oct. 18. Dr. Leavitt earned his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in New York City and completed internship, residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has served as a member of the American College of Gastroenterology's practice management committee.
