Candoni Wines Proudly Announces Receiving Another Gold Medal and the Best Red Wine Accolade from the 57 Edition of the Italian Nation Wine Exhibition
ATLANTA (PRWEB) June 26, 2018 -- The 57th edition of the Italian National Wine Exhibition in Pramaggiore has given great satisfaction to the family’s estate brand Tenuta Polvaro. Indeed, all Tenuta Polvaro wines that were entered into the competition have earned the coveted gold medal award. This emphasizes not only the quality of these products but also the constant commitment of the Candoni De Zan family to preserve and enhance this beautiful wine territory.
Held in the heart of the Lison-Pramaggiore D.O.C.G. wine district in the Veneto region, the National Wine Exhibition in Pramaggiore, is the oldest enological event in Italy that rewards every year D.O.C., D.O.C.G., and I.G.T. wines from all Italian regions. The 2018 edition is particularly rich, with more than 10,000 wines entered into competition from 600 different labels.
"We are extremely proud of this award since it shows that our passion and research for quality is recognized by the best experts in the sector,” says Caterina De Zan (Owner of Tenuta Polvaro).
Polvaro Merlot D.O.C. it is the best red wine of the Veneto region.
Tenuta Polvaro Merlot D.O.C. has earned the prestigious "VENETO Più" award for obtaining the highest score in the whole red wine category from Veneto, beating off the most famous red wines of Valpolicella. We are even more pleased with this award since the Awarding Board was chaired by one of the greatest national and international experts of Merlot, the winemaker Riccardo Cotarella, President of Assoenologi.
In addition to its Organic Pinot Grigio, Organic Merlot, and Organic Red Blend, Candoni De Zan offers a wide array of traditional Italian wines produced in the Veneto and other prestigious growing regions of Italy. “This land has been tended for thousands of years, all the way back to the ancient Etruscans,” says De Zan. “We think it’s our responsibility to work with nature to help both the vineyard and the land flourish.”
Candoni De Zan Wines is an Italian wine family based in the Veneto region with distribution throughout the U.S. Specializing in wines traditional to Italy, Candoni De Zan produces wine under the labels of Candoni, Carletto, and Polvaro Tenuta.
