Local Company Providing Technology, IT Support for Special Olympics; Net-Tech IT Donates Infrastructure, Professional Support
SEATTLE (PRWEB) June 29, 2018 -- More than 4,000 Special Olympics athletes and coaches, along with tens of thousands family members, volunteers and spectators from across the United States are arriving for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games this Sunday at the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium. Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes, local technology leader Net-Tech is busy preparing all 38 athletic venues and facilities with the technology needed to ensure the event is successful.

Net-Tech is providing 38 firewalls, 40 access points and 500 switch ports along with a single network for all volunteers and staffers and public wi-fi access. Microsoft, the Presenting Partner of the Opening Ceremony and Premier Partner of the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, is supplying 100 Surfaces, while QBSI is providing 50 printers and 10 copiers, all of which are being installed and supported by Net-Tech during the week of Games.
All 20 of Net-Tech’s staff members will provide on-site IT support at every venue for the entire week of Special Olympics Games.
