LONDON, July 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The London Institute for Mathematical Sciences and Digital Science are pleased to announce an agreement that will see research insights platform Dimensions rolled out across the Institute.
Dimensions connects over 130 million research documents, enabling users to explore more than 95 million publication records, $1.3tn of funded grants, 400,000 clinical trials, 35 million patents, and their associated metrics.
With the Dimensions implementation, the London Institute will be able to gather a much more complete picture of the research landscape and broader impacts of their research within a global context. Dimensions surfaces over 4 billion connections between content types, linking different stages of the research lifecycle and making it much easier for users to gather the insights necessary to most effectively guide future research activities.
Speaking about the adoption of Dimensions at the London Institute, Director Dr. Thomas Fink commented, "Dimensions has helped the London Institute better understand the research landscape and recognize the broader impacts of our published work. As a result, the Institute's scientists are more motivated, inspired and effective."
Christian Herzog, CEO of the Data and Analytics group at Digital Science, adds, "Our goal has always been to provide the community with a data discovery engine with both context and perspective, and that involves partnering with organizations that share those values. We are delighted to find that with the London Institute and look forward to working with them."
Dimensions will be available via site license access to users across the organization.
