Lou Bencardino Is Providing Steam Relocation for a New Residential Building at 40th and Walnut Streets
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) July 09, 2018 -- Lou Bencardino is providing steam relocation for and The University of Pennsylvania New College House West. Veolia Construction hired Bencardino Contractors to provide excavating for the heat and hot water service at the New College House West. This 450-bed 250000 GSF residential building will house sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The steam relocation for this important project is scheduled to be completed by August 15th 2018. Walnut Street near 40th Street and The Rodin College House is serviced by Locust Walk which is an ornate pedestrian walkway. Bencardino will rebuild two manholes, and provide one pour in place manhole while digging through Locust Walk. Bencardino must carefully rebuild the beautiful Locust Walk so that the new construction matches the existing walk detailing exactly.
New College House West was designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects, which also designed New College House.
New College House West will be as tall as the The Radian, located across the street at 13 stories.
