Being an educator, Corazza has always been open to learning a wide variety of ideologies. When Connie Castro Jackson came into her life, her interest was piqued and they became good friends. In this pensive retelling of Jackson’s life story, the author leads readers through Jackson’s hardscrabble childhood in a California farmworker’s family and along her journey as she learned to embrace her psychic experiences as reality. While bringing the stories of this intuitive channel, spiritual advisor and transformational coach to life, Corazza also offers Jackson’s insights on how to connect with the collective consciousness while sharing life and healing lessons gleaned from both spiritual guidance and life experiences in a way that feels like a visit with a trusted friend.
Written in a candid tone, the novel is suffused with humor, sincerity and wisdom. Aside from sharing life lessons and insights to the readers, it also demonstrates that humble beginnings do not have to stifle accomplishment.
The book serves as a literary embodiment of ageless wisdom and life-changing lessons. By sharing one woman’s personal experiences, clearly and honestly, Corazza encourages readers to recognize and take to heart the wisdom they gather from “An Unlikely Teacher.”
