Payscape Hosts 6th Annual Glow on the Green, Charity Night-Golf Tournament
ATLANTA (PRWEB) July 17, 2018 -- Payscape, an Atlanta-based financial technology company, will host its 6th annual Glow on the Green charity golf tournament at North Fulton Golf Course in Chastain Park on August 23rd, 2018. This event combines a night-golf scramble with a clubhouse party, complete with live music, food and drinks. All proceeds will benefit two charities: Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and Julie’s Dream.
“Glow on the Green has been a perfect platform for Payscape to utilize our relationships with partners and vendors, and support our community,” said Adam Bloomston, CEO & Co-Founder at Payscape. “Both WWP and Julie’s Dream are close to our organization. Whether it is giving back to veterans, or providing opportunity to disadvantaged youth, our donation will be going to a wonderful charity.”
The idea of a glow in the dark golf tournament was first created six years ago to raise funds for causes that Payscape wanted to support as part of their “Payscape Pays it Forward” program. This program has garnered hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations and volunteer hours since its inception.
“Our organization is incredibly grateful to be involved with Payscape’s Glow on the Green Tournament,” said Chad Harlan, founder of Julie’s Dream, a public charity founded in honor of his late wife, Julie Harlan.
“We are incredibly grateful to have the support of amazing partners like Payscape,” said Gary Corless, WWP chief development officer. “The warriors we serve never pay a penny for our programs – because they paid their dues on the battlefield. Our free services in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care change lives. That is possible because of the generous donors and partners that support our mission with critical resources and awareness.”
