SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 2019 Deseret News Home Show opens its doors on Friday, October 11, 2019 and continues through Sunday, October 13 at the Mountain America Expo Center. This fall, the Home Show team welcomes Matt Muenster of HGTV's and DIY Network's Bath Crashers and Utah designers, Ronda Batchelor, Simple Simon and Company, Kelly Dunlop.
Muenster is a licensed contractor and designer from Minnesota. On Bath Crashers, he transforms outdated bathrooms into timeless spaces for any family and any design style. Through his experience on HGTV and DIY Network Muenster proves that he can step out of bathroom design and apply his skills to a wide variety of home renovation projects. Muenster will be on the Design Stage presented by Van Sickle Design & Drafting to share his experience in carpentry and home improvement on Friday, October 11 at 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, October 12 at noon and 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, October 13 at noon.
Plus, home show goers will learn how to apply the KonMari™ Method when Elisa Albury of "Sparks Joy Mission" takes the stage to showcase the benefits of a tidy home and lifestyle. Catch Albury on the Design Stage on Friday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, October 12 at 3:00 p.m.; and Sunday, October 13 at 1 pm.
This season, the Deseret News Home Show will feature the Utah Made Marketplace, filled with unique gifts and home goods, and Down to Earth in Gardner Village designer rooms, where guests can gather inspiration for creating a new bedroom, dining room or living space for their own homes. Also, Utah blogger, Ronda Batchelor of Batchelors Way will reveal her "Re-design on a Dime" dining space masterpiece, created for only $500. And, on the Kitchen Stage presented by SelectHealth, awarding-winning cookbook author, Karen Folcik of Happy Tummies: A Cookbook for New Mamas, will share her favorite fall recipes for healthy meals.
Additionally, the Deseret News Home Show is offering valet parking service at the Mountain America Expo Center.
