IGWorks® is used to helping its customers grow lots of green. That’s their job as an indoor gardening company that caters to residential consumers. Now, they’ve announced the launch of a Community Round on WeFunder, where their most passionate customers and fans are becoming part of the company’s success in a whole new way...by investing capital.

Our iHarvest® indoor garden allows folks to grow 30 plants, including tomatoes, strawberries, eggplant and almost anything you can dream of, in only 2.5 square ft. of floorspace. Our µHarvest® garden will allow folks to grow 12 plants in less than ½ a square foot of somebody’s kitchen counter.

This isn’t IGWorks®’ first time raising money via a crowdfunding platform. The company raised nearly $275k on Kickstarter and Indiegogo when it launched its first product, the iHarvest® indoor garden. Ever since then, one of the company’s biggest problems has been keeping iHarvests in stock, says Dave Stevens, CEO, and Founder of IGWorks®.

“The iHarvest® has been a tremendous seller” says Stevens. “As word spread about how beautiful the iHarvest® is, and how easy it is to grow lots of food, sales increased by approximately 60% year over year. That growth could be significantly higher, but we’ve had difficult staying in stock.” It turns out it’s not easy running a startup in the middle of a global pandemic that has had enormous impacts on supply chains. Just recently, IGWorks® had to post another ‘Out of Stock’ message on their website.

Stevens intends to put an end to stock shortages of the iHarvest®, while developing new products and services for his customers. IGWorks® has completed design, prototyping, and tooling of their latest indoor garden, the µHarvest®, which will complement the iHarvest® by allowing users to grow salads, herbs, and vegetables on their kitchen countertop. “My goal is to create products that everyone will love. Our iHarvest® indoor garden allows folks to grow 30 plants, including tomatoes, strawberries, eggplant, and almost anything you can dream of, in only 2.5 square ft. of floorspace. Our µHarvest® garden will allow folks to grow 12 plants in less than ½ a square foot of somebody’s kitchen counter.”

As it turns out, IGWorks®’ industry is growing leaps and bounds. More Americans are living in small places without backyards, or have seasonal limitations. Being able to grow fresh produce free of harmful pesticides, herbicides and GMO’s inside the home is appealing to more people than ever before. That’s why IGWorks® has plans to expand to Europe and Asia, where potential customers are consistently asking for their iHarvest® indoor garden. Perhaps that’s also why 360 Research Reports states that the global indoor gardening system market is expected to grow by 4.5x between 2020 and 2026. “People want to grow their own food” says Stevens, “but they haven’t been able to do it in attractive and easy-to-use systems that create a beautiful piece of living artwork in their homes before. IGWorks® is changing that.”

By choosing WeFunder for its Community Round, IGWorks® is breaking down the barriers that typically prevent customers, fans, and the public from being able to invest in early-stage companies demonstrating significant growth. Supporters can invest as little as $100 in exchange for company equity, from right at home.
