The transformation resulted in business growth and expanded gross margin by 1400bps in less than 24 months, as well as enabled the overall business to drive organic/inorganic growth, growing revenue from $500M to $1.2B+ and expanding gross margin by 800bps and operating profit by 1200bps in less than 4 years.
Prior to Merkle, he was the North America leader for Accenture's Technology growth platform. At Accenture, he managed $8.7B in Technology and IT Services sales and $7.9B in revenue and managed more than 57,000 service delivery personnel driving 16% year-over-year growth (while Gartner/IDC projected 4-5% industry growth) and expanding margins, reducing cost-to-serve and implementing improved pricing and client service delivery for 2 consecutive years.
